We formed MeatCurtain in 2000 starting with a simple 4-track cassette recorder. Now we are proud
owners of BEEF STUdio, a very up to date, fully loaded studio.
Between the three
of us we have over 60 years experience.
MeatCurtain plays a style of death metal that was influenced by ‘90’s
death metal bands and meshed with 2000’s style.
MeatCurtain’s
mission is to keep metal heads all over the globe entertained via cd’s, airplay, internet and live shows.
We have cd’s for sale on our web page
and at www.cdbaby.com/cd/meatcurtain, Earshot music, Cd's and More and over 2400 cd shops around the
world ( Superfile and Super D databases).
Our airplay ranges from loads of college
stations, (our favorite WREK Georgia Tech) to local shows like WTPT
Upstate Unsigned and various internet shows like www.rawore.com, www.metalnetradio.com, www.heavymetalradio.net, www.kissthis.com and many more .

Jason Ballew,
Born
and raised in Greenville, SC. The bass called me to it's bidding at 16. It was the perfect start, as most of those I knew
played some form of metal. My style evolved through many improv' situations and semi-serious group efforts. Now with MeatCurtain,
my evolution is manifesting a new form.

 Steven Wooten,
Born in Greenville,
SC, I got my first guitar when I was seven. At the age of twelve, I received my first guitar lesson.
From there, I was in various musical situations. The most prosperous situation (at
the time) being Arcanum, a progressive metal band. With that in the pocket, I discovered engineering
and producing my own music was more satisfying. It has become more fulfilling than anything before. MeatCurtain is the most true example of where I am coming from. We are quickly growing
as a unit and as a new sound for old school death metal. I am now endorsed by Halo Guitars.
